Learn rhythms that are used in drum circles and sing songs together.
Learn how to get sounds out of percussion instruments: bells, blocks, shakers, chimes, etc.
Learn how to listen and play together with rhythms and improvisational jams.
This basic knowledge will carry you far with recreational drum circle jams. It’s also a great introduction to drumming if you’re just starting out. If you like it and want to gain a deeper knowledge, I will point you in the direction of many great drum instructors in the area!
