Drumming is a popular activity with seniors as it brings people together to have some fun while also providing physical exercise and mental stimulation. Drumming accesses parts of the brain that thrive on music memories and allow for people to open up and connect via the drum.  It also helps reduce stress, improve motor skills and facilitate non-verbal self expression.
